In general, we strongly suggest keeping your guest list to 1-2 people (plus yourself). In our experience, the more guests you have, the longer the appointment will take. There is a $15 fee for appointments that go past their allotted time due to guest interactions or distractions.

If you desire to bring more guests, we ask that only 1-2 accompany you in the consultation rooms or fitting area and the rest are welcome to hang out in our comfy reception area. You're more than welcome to switch out guests as you desire.

There is a single step up to the front door, however, we do have a wheelchair ramp that we can bring out for you (unfortunately, we are unable to install it permanently). If you need a ramp, please give us a call at 312-462-3614 prior to your arrival.

Yes! We allow animals as long as they are well behaved and do not have a tendency to eat things off the ground (ie: pins and thread). Certified service dogs are always welcome.

Uncommon Closet will not be held responsible for any damages or medical issues that may occur if your pet steps on, eats, sniffs, or interacts with any pins, thread, fabric, or materials while at Uncommon Closet.

We currently only speak English and a bit of conversational Spanish between all of us so you will need to bring your own translator if one would be needed. We do have access to a translator app if you're not able to bring a translator.
